Bankai Release
''Bankai! Orochi Shinjamaru!'' (Bankai! Mythical Eight-Headed Serpent Sacred Snake!)
Bankai Appearance
From shikai, Shinjamaru's Bankai certainly takes a long turn appearance wise. Kihashi's reiatsu will explode outward in a shockwave as Shinjamaru glows on his arm, then becomes rope-like and splits into eight pieces. These pieces then uncoil into the form of eight metallic snakes which wrap around his wrists, his upper arms, his shins, and his legs. These bracelet-looking devices then clamp down firmly and give Kihashi the huge bankai increase in power. The bracelets have the design of snake heads upon them. They are a dull golden color.
Bankai Techniques
Deppa: Translated to Overbite, this ability is a very powerful one indeed. When Kihashi lands an attack, the bracers force out a small burst of energy containing his own reiatsu. It enters the victim's body forcefully through the point of contact and strikes against their own reiatsu. When the two forces collide, the energy will erupt violently from the clash, creating a huge explosion of pain and concussive trauma and force to the victim. Since this mainly deals internal damage, it can absolutely pass through Hierro when Kihashi uses it. When used with Shunko, this ability causes enough internal damage, that, when focused to a small area, can completely rupture the affected tissue upon contact. When focused to a larger area it has the original effect, only a bit more potent. Blocking is pointless, as the attack will simply pass into the defending limb.
Dappi Hebi: Translating to Shedding Snake, this is a passive ability that is always active. Kihashi's bankai sends his strength, power, agility, and speed through the roof, and that boost of speed combined with his already incredibly mastery of Hoho has created this as a result. When using Shunpo, he seems to just vanish then appear wherever he stepped to. He doesn't even leave behind the trademark ''swish'' sound that comes with the steps. He actually moves so fast his reiatsu disappears off the radar when he uses Shunpo, making him untrackable until he appears again. When used with Shunko, even Kihashi's normal running speed will make him move as fast as he does with Shunpo, also granting the untraceable effect until he stops. When he actually uses Shunpo, it creates a gigantic boom, akin to a sonic boom, which can deafen or disorient the enemy for a small time.
Chishiryou: Translated to Lethal Dose, this ability fits its name very well. Rather than excreting the venom from Shinjamaru through a blade, Kihashi can actually excrete it when he bites an enemy, bleeds on them, or he can excrete it through the pores in his hands and use reiatsu to forcefully inject it upon contact. The venom is many times more potent in Bankai than it is in Shikai. Smaller doses will blur the enemy's sight and make them see hallucinations of Kihashi, particularly seeing two copies of him which confounds their attempts to target him. Larger doses can kill in minutes.
Hebi Megumi: Translates to Snake's Blessing, this simply refers to the physical parameter augments that come with Shinjamaru entering Bankai. Kihashi's strength is augmented intensely, the point where he can smash high level hollow masks with his bare hands and strike Hierro without damaging his hands. He can even completely shatter lower-power Zanpakuto, such as lower power Arrancar Zanpakuto or Lower-level Shinigami's Shikai. He is granted complete immunity to most poisons, and to even the most potent ones he has a high resistance, deadening most symptoms and afflictions for a long period of time. His speed is incredibly increased, to the point where his faster movements will leave an after-image to confuse someone to where the attack is coming from.
