TaichouSquad 4Chen, Shuyan (not yet approved)545i487.photobucket.com/albums/rr232/365_750/Yano.pngI have been working for centuries to perfect my craft, one day I will be the best. The greatest healer in history.I have had experience playing many different kinds of characters and believe that I can handle the responsibility of a captainShuyan came to S.S. as a child, no older than two. She was raised by a kind old woman who happened to own a gambling house. Growing up in that environment has hardened the girl,as well as instilled a great drive for greatness into her. For some time she ran one of the toughest gangs in Rukongai, and was even the successful owner of her adoptive mothers gambling house.
After an incident with a rival gang she was shown to have great potential and was taken to the shinigami academy all before the age of 16 (physically that is). She excelled in her studies and has show great proficiency in kidou especially of the healing type. She has advanced as far as she can for now, and only becoming captain will allow her go achieve her ultimate dream of greatness.Roleplay Sample"Please you must remain calm and stop screaming. I need total concentration if i'm going to close this wound." The young shinigami kneeled with a focused expression across her brow. The young man laying on the floor panicking had recently been hit with a fierce cero and she was thoroughly focused on closing the large whole he now had in his chest. Healing was a difficult thing to do in the middle of the battlefield but she was well practiced and knew how to properly defend herself against the few hollows still rampaging about. She was smart enough tho erect a toxic barrier with her zanpakuto that would make even those dumb creatures think twice before invading the space. Unfortunately the young shinigami at her feet was also effected by the toxic spores and was beginning to cough something fierce. With a steady hand she reached into a small pouch at her hip pulling out a vile of murky red liquid, she poured a small amount into the young mans mouth and quickly returned to the task at hand. The blue energy swirled in her hands, restoring the poor souls reishi sewing spiritual particles together and closing his wound. Only a few more seconds was all she needed unfortunately one of the hollows had grown impatient. "Just a few... more... seconds... CLOSED!" The deed was done. The wound was closed and before the stumbling hollow, under the effects of her zanpakuto, was able to get off it's first attack she went into action, holding her palms directly out in front of her, "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Raikoho!!!" With that a blast of blinding golden energy erupted from her palms sending the large hollow reeling back, most of it's body gone with the blast. Unfortunately as most hollows do, it started regenerating and before it could finish she sprinted toward it, drawing the swirling cloud of poison into her hand, once again it took the form of it's sealed blade, and without hesitation she plunged the short dagger into the hollows white mask. With a quick clean motion, she tore the dagger out splitting the mask in the process. Slowly the hollow disintegrated in the wind it's still grinning mask the last to go. She picked up her injured comrade and flung him over one shoulder, palm out in front of her face marked in rage, "Any of you other bastards want a shot at me?", she called out to the remaining hollow stragglers. Just as they were about to attack they were quickly disposed of, back up had arrived, and Shuyan breathed a sigh of relief.

Are you applying for Espada or Taichou? Taichou if so, which position or squad? Gobantai (5th) Character name, if approved Ishiguro Ayumu (石黒 歩) [Yet to be approved] Character Age ~500 (Has lost count) Appearance
Why do you deserve this position IC? Quite frankly, it would be because he can kill people, and is damn fine at it. He may not be the best leader, maybe even a piss-poor one, but there is no doubt in his raw power. He can also be very dedicated to his work if he sees a point in it, whether it be a large-scale fight or filling out paper-work (although he rather dislikes that last one).
Why do you deserve this position OOC? Personally, I think I am a pretty fine RPer. I have enough experience to know what to do, whether it be a fight or a relationship plot. I've never had much chance to use my RP ability on something as large a scale as a captain, but that doesn't mean I don't have experience. I would really like the opportunity to use my abilities on a large scale, and I really think that this is a good place to start.
Brief History of the character [200+ words] Ayumu was a slum child, poor and orphaned at a young age by a freak fire that killed both of his parents. People shunned him, calling him the bad omen that killed killed his parents, no matter the pure impossibility of it. And so he grew up alone, with no companionship whatsoever. However, this hardened him and gave him strength. It taught him that surviving was what mattered, not friends or money.
And so he spent the first 150 some-odd years of his life. He needed no food, he needed no companionship, he just needed the strength to go on. And he found that strength through motivation, and that motivation was the Seireitei. The massive white palace that towered over the center of the Rukongai, as if mocking the outside with its glory. He hated it, and yet he yearned for it above all else. That is where he would go, he would become a Shinigami above all others, and he would change this horrible place that he called him home. Whether it be improving it, or burning it down and replacing it.
It was the age 158 that Ayumu left for Seireitei, and began making his dreams come true. But doing so began with a feeling, a terrible feeling that grew and grew within Ayumu's stomach to the point of agony. He didn't know what it was, but some around him knew well enough. It was hunger, a "disease" cured only by food. But there was no food to be found within a place like the Rukongai, especially for one as poor as him. The people feared him, for if not cured, a person suffering from hunger would eventually turn into a hollow, and begin feasting on the souls of everyone in the Rukongai.
Ayumu didn't want this, but he supposed it would be a fitting end. Becoming a monster and feeding on those who shunned him, only to be hunted and slaughtered by the very Shinigami he had wished to join. And so he waited, to exhausted to move, as the hunger swept over him. It was fortunate, however, that a passing Shinigami had found him on the brink of death, bringing him to the Seireitei where he was fed and trained within the Shinigami Academy.
It is no surprise that Ayumu was called "prodigious" during his time in the academy. He easily out did his "richer" counter parts with raw strength and determination, and was an insanely fast learner. He was also called a "devil" for how brutal he was during his sparring matches, often continuing after a forfeit or if his opponent was down. But the academy wouldn't dare risk losing such raw talent by kicking Ayumu out for these things. They could see his potential, and indeed he would live up to their expectations in the coming years.
It wasn't long before Ayumu graduated from the academy with flying colors. He joined the Gobantai, which was currently under the captaincy Sosuke Aizen. He was an asset to many missions, always coming back with little injury and a job well done, which usually involved an army of dead hollow in his wake. However, just because he was unharmed didn't mean his squad mates weren't. Often enough they would get caught in Ayumu's own flames, which Ayumu would disregard altogether. This evolved his title to "The Crimson Devil," after his blood-red hair and his insane fighting tactics. But he cared not. In fact, he liked the name. It would be the name he would carry as he rose to the top.
It seemed that fortune shined down upon him on the day of Aizen's betrayal, and the massive trail of death that followed. It left many spots and opportunities open for Ayumu and his generation. And it wasn't long after the "slaughter" of the old Gotei 13 that Ayumu stepped forward to claim the supposed "cursed seat" that Sosuke Aizen had left behind.
Roleplay Sample [Must be new, 200+ words]
A light wind ruffled Ayumu's white haori as it kicked up dust all around him. People around him mumbled and whispered, backing away from and making sure to keep their distance. While these people knew not who he was, they knew very well as to what he was. But even then they may not have knwon to what degree.
The captain of the 5th Division, Ishigoru Ayumu, walked silently down the streets of the Rukongai slums. His face was expressionless, his pace was steady, and his reason for being there was... non-existent. It had been a very long time since he had walked down these very streets, a boy desperate for nothing more than life and purpose. He loathed this place, and quite frankly, he hated the people who lived in it. Of course, all of the people who had shunned him as a child were all most likely dead, already put back into the cycle of recreation by the hands of fate. But as he looked around, his eyes barely moving for dirt covered person to dirt covered person to dirt covered person, he wondered if anything had changed.
For while the individuals who had treated him as something below scum were all now gone, these were all the same people. They were all still oblivious to the actual world around them, of the wars that raged in the outside world. All they cared about was surviving, just like he had, and shunning anyone who might be even slightly unfortunate. And it was this way they would stay, unless something changed. Unless there was some kind of intervention, this place would still remain the same hell that it had always been.
It was sudden that Ayumu stopped in the middle of the street, his head turning to look at some broken down house. But it wasn't the house that Ayumu observed, but rather the wall of the house. It was upon this wall that Ayumu had rested his back against, trying to hold on to what remained of his retched existence upon the brink of starvation. Ayumu's hand gripped in fury, curling into a fist and his knuckles cracking. Indeed, Ayumu loathed this place, and that spot most of all. He wanted to... Destroy it. To burn it all down and give this horrible place a means to a new existence. It would be easy... And if he had run afterward, what of it?
Ayumu took a deep breath, regaining himself and scolding his inner conscience for its insanity. He had come too far in this life to end it so pointlessly. If this place were to be burned down, it would simply be replaced by something just as ragged, if not more so. Ayumu sighed and turned to head back to Seireitei, but he was stopped by a sudden tugging on his haori.
"Hm?" Ayumu turned his head in confusion to see nothing there.
"Hey mister, are you a Shinigami...?"
He heard the voice come from below, and Ayumu lowered his gaze to find himself looking into the wide eyes of a small, dirty looking boy. His face held a clear expression of wonder, his mouth agape and his eyes looking like they were trying to capture every little detail of Ayumu's figure. The boy let go of the haori as Ayumu turned to face him, getting a quick nod in return. The boy's eyes quickly fell to Ayumu's waist, gasping in amazement at the sword that rested there.
"Wow! Is that your demon killing sword?! Can I touch it?!" The boy's hand extended, wanting to grasp the dark red hilt. But Ayumu simply put his hand on the boy's head, shaking his own.
"No," He said, his voice not holding any real emotion. "You will have to obtain one of your own," And it was with this that Ayumu turned away and began walking again, leaving the boy and his still wonder-filled face behind in the dust. Maybe this place held some hope... Maybe. [/sub]

Are you applying for Espada or Taichou? Espada if so, which position or squad? Segunda (2nd) Character name, if approved Inmueble Fuerza Character Age 1212 Appearance Why do you deserve this position IC? Fuerza absolutly hate his creator, Aizen. The old saying goes don't bite the hand that feeds you, well he rends the hand that hand that attempts to even point at him. He doesn't accept Aizen as leader. This makes him interesting because the other Espada accept or tolerate Aizen, while he doesn't and he doesn't respect him in the least. Why do you deserve this position OOC? I have experience role playing and a lot of which was on bleach rp sites. i have been in high level positions like this one before. Brief History of the character [200+ words] Fuerza was created by another hollow that ate him while he was human. Fuerza started to eat human souls, but succumbed to cannibalism. He sought out a mass of hollow and begun a frenzy that led to his creation as a Gillian. He ate Gillian after Gillian and the body count rose. It was at this time that a band of shinigami had entered Hueco Mundo. He took this chance to have a shinigami for once. After this he turned into an Adjuchas. He still ate Gillian but upgraded to bigger and better prey after that. As the appearance of Arrancar increased his food source lessened. Aizen came to him but he declined his offer. Eventually the Arrancar had crossed his path. He killed and ate a few. A new power surged through him and he became a Vasto Lorde. He had begun to lose interest in a lot of things he became lazy. Aizen appeared again to him wanting his answer. Fuerza agreed to go with him and be shinigamifide. He started at 5th, but advanced through the ranks until he finally became Segundo. Roleplay Sample [Must be new, 200+ words] Fuerza walked through the halls of Hueco Mundo, staggering a bit. It was surprisingly empty. So much so that he could hear the pad pad of his bare feet on the stone floor. The floor was a nice temperature, not hot but not cold either but still not room temperature. He stopped to think of what he was going to do next. Fuerza wasn’t really that tired or that hungry. So he decided to walk until he was hungry or tired. He began to walk again but this time in the direction he just came from. The exit of Hueco Mundo got bigger as he got closer, a trick of the mind he knew. Fuerza exited onto the dessert landscape. He felt the sand between his toes. The moon was strangely relaxing tonight…or was it today? Fuerza didn’t care much. He began to lessen his pace and take in the air. It was one of those moments when everything seemed to stop for a brief second and you were at harmony with your self. This moment was ruined by a slight tremble. Fuerza looked up out of his dream moment, that’s when he caught the scent of a Shinigami’s reiatsu, coming from outside Las Noches. It was probably a sneak attack gone wrong. Fuerza decided to check it out even though he really didn’t want to. Fuerza arrived on the scene as the shinigami were pulling back. He got a quick whiff of a possible strong one but it vanished as they cleared out of Hueco Mundo. Fuerza scoffed, “Shinigami don’t know when to stay at home, makes me sick.” After that he left to let someone else clean up the mess.

Are you applying for Espada or Taichou? Taicho if so, which position or squad? Junibantai(12) Character name, if approved Seiyaru Hoshi, not approved Character Age812
Appearance Click
Why do you deserve this position IC? Ic, my character would be one of, if not the most, intellegent shinigami on the site. To back this up he has a massive array of skills and powers making him one of the most capable fighters even though he is a scientist. He is well adept in the art of combat as well as an overly successive leader.
Why do you deserve this position OOC? OOC, i've been on the site since before it went inactive. My rping skills are quite excellent as I have six plus years of rping behind me. I'm always active and in fact I'd give myself a 9/10 for activity. I'd be a well valued asset to the Motion Blue team as well as the Gotei 13.
Brief History of the character Born in the Soul Society, the Junrinan district, Seiyaru Hoshi lived a quiet, sheltered life away from other children and annoyances. Void of any outside violence and dangers, Junrinan was an ideal place to live, along with his three sisters, mother, and father. Although one would think living with three older sisters would be difficult, Sei found ways to overcome this by secluding himself from the group. He'd often withdraw to his room alone for hours at a time, not coming out to even eat. Over time this changed however as he began to leave the room to go buy supplies for his studies, or to chat with his family. His family was very loving of him and so they did not question him about his secrecy. Both of his parents were former shinigami, while his sister was a proud member of squad three. She told him the glorious stories of the squad and her adventures, when he wasn't trapped in his room.
Even though life in squad three sounded great, Seiyaru drifted more so towards the life of science, setting a goal to become a member of squad twelve. He studied for days on end while confined to his room, honing his skills that would be needed to become a member of the squad. Along with these skills his sister and father would teach him about how to fight and kido, but not kido spells. Learning to become a shinigami was truly exciting, but Sei still favored life as a scientist, so when he joined the shinigami academy at age one hundred his goal was to join squad twelve. While in the academy he worked his butt off training, not just his mind, but his body. Taking up several sword fighting styles as well as hand to hand styles, he'd become a well rounded fighter. Along with these physical skills he'd increase his knowledge by spending more than three fourths of his time in the library, flying through books of all types, never truly focusing on one subject.
Roleplay Sample
A great white pearl took it's seat high upon the shadowy night sky. Stars littered the sky like fire ants attacking the lifeless corpse of a cricket, yet all was quiet. Cool, gentle winds blew cherry blossoms through the air, their pink illuminated ten times over by the big white pearl. Such a peaceful night, but why must it be isolated to this one area? Why couldn't the world share in this beauty? Thoughts cut through the air like blades, erupting from the mouth of a dark figure sitting upon a dull grey boulder.
"Nights like this come but once a month, yet I am left with the mundane affairs than allowed a piece of this elegance."
The figure allowed long flowing shadows to fall from a hair tie...no...headband of some sorts. Upon a close up, the figure had quite the flow of hair, adding to his devilish good looks. Piercing turquoise eyes, wrapped in time withered red lines, lanced through the darkness as a blast of wind would blow cherry blossoms all around the man. His legs were crossed, but his black hakama could easily be spotted because of it's white outline. His black sleeves and fishnet shirt showed off deathly pale skin, sticking out in the darkness like a soar thumb. Seiyaru Hoshi, intellegent captain of the twelfth would weave his way out of the Seireitei, relaxing at his very own, secretive getaway. He'd often come here when he needed guidance, alone time, or had free time. If anyone was to ever find this place it'd mean pure dread for Seiyaru.
"Where is that darned bird of mine."
Seiyaru scanned the area for a midnight crow, dark as the night sky. Would he really risk whistling, someone could hear...even though he was more than ten miles awsy from Konoha. The blue eyed captain brought his right index and thumb to his mouth, releasing a terrible piercing noise, whining throughout the night air. Within seconds the furious noise of relentless flapping could be heard and finally a fairly small crow, no bigger than a basketball perched itself upon his shoulder.
"Where have you been! I've been worried sick."

Are you applying for Espada or Taichou? Taichou if so, which position or squad? 1st Squad
Character name, if approved Tenpi Kishou
Character Age 357
Appearance For the most part, Kishou's appearance is interchangeable with almost any other shinigami's. His facial structure is plebeian, he has no facial hair, and there are no remarkable blemishes on his face. He is six foot three and 165 pounds, the slight amount of extra weight on his person being attributed to lean muscle. He wears the kimono that is customary of the shinigami with no differences. His black hair reaches about halfway down his neck, but he decided that he looked too much like many other shinigami and had his bangs dyed white.
Why do you deserve this position IC? I've been a constant within 1st Squad for over 300 years, and am generally respected by the shinigami within the Gotei 13. I am well-known as a powerful shinigami, one of only living shinigami with the spiritual strength to have a dual-wield shikai, and have never gone against the orders of the Captain-Commander.
I know that our war against the hollow will be a constant one and I am willing to fight for, lead, and protect Soul Society for as long as I can. I was trained by Yamamoto Genryuusai and know that he'd want me to do this job. Our alliance with the Quincy is one that I am willing to honor as long as they will, but I'm not willing to sacrifice my own people for their help.
Why do you deserve this position OOC? I've been role playing for years and while I've gotten rusty, I think that I can grow to become a better RPer here. I'm willing to be active daily and will help move the plot along as best I can with my own twists and turns.
Brief History of the character Tenpi Kishou was born in India to a family of Japanese immigrants. He was a sickly child, but found strength through the Hindu prayer that his mother spoke over him daily. Just next door lived Gadadhar Chattopadhyay, the child that would become known internationally as an incarnation of Vishnu. Kishou would become best friends with Gadadhar and learn of Hinduism from him, until they both left home for a Sanskrit school in Calcutta. Kishou would stay there for four years until he left for Kanpur to fight in the Indian War for Independence.
He was a large part of peace-making procedures within the sieged Kanpur and made arrangements to allow the British soldiers to leave for nearby Allahabad. The soldiers didn't get far before enraged Sepoy rebels destroyed most of the soldiers, refused to allow them to leave with returning the pain and oppression that had been inflicted upon them. Kishou was driven into depression, blaming himself for the slaughter. He refused to speak and fasted for the remainder of his life, only drinking water and eating nothing.
He spent ten days within a temple praying, leaving only to get water. When the British broke in and captured him, he didn't even flinch. In the same day he was ready to be hanged with many other captured villagers. As he rose to be the first hanged, he turned to the soon-to-be executed and spoke his mother's prayer one last time: “Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya, mrityor ma amritam gamaya.”
Days later, he was taken off to Rukongai, in touch with his spirit more than he'd ever been. He could already gather reiatsu and was taken to the academy by a teacher a year later. He graduated two years early, entered 1st Squad as sixth seat, and trained with the Captain-Commander for over fifty years. He bested the Captain-Commander once in shikai combat. As the Espada invasion came, Kishou was one of the shinigami most prepared. He bested his fraccion opponent, only to watch Yamamoto Genryuusai die at the hands of an Espada.
Roleplay Sample It was a beautiful day in Seireitei, the sun shone with glittering beauty and it seemed like everyone was just happier. It was the first day of Spring, and the cherry blossom trees were fully flowered, imprinting their beauty upon the landscape. Kishou awoke peacefully and left the barracks without a sound, smiling at his surroundings.
He walked through Seireitei slowly, going to Sokyoku Hill. It had been here that Kishou trained with Yamamoto Genryuusai and it would be here that he found him watching over the world. He bowed with deliberate deepness as he spoke “Ohayou gozaimasu, sotaichou.” Yamamoto said the same and told Kishou to take a seat with him, and he did so.
“If there's one thing you remember from our time together, let it be this: no one is who you think they are.” Yamamoto said as the white-banged shinigami looked over the world with eyes tinged with naivete. “I used to be foolish and clownish like you, but I let that go once I knew what the world needed from me.” Yamamoto pointed towards the 1st Squad barracks as he spoke and it was now that Kishou would notice that he never interrupted the sotaichou while he spoke.
“This entire place was once on my back, but slowly others came along that would help me support it. After a while, I only used a hand to keep it in the air, and others had made it rise higher than I ever could alone.” Yamamoto's hand rose in dramatic gesture as he spoke and Kishou completely believed as he looked upon the sotaichou's many scars that Seireitei was built off of Yamamoto's sacrifices.
“Aizen and all those loyal to him will pose a threat to us for a long time, but we always keep fighting.” Kishou nodded his head. “Are you ready to get your own scars? Will you sacrifice yourself to keep this world intact?”
As Yamamoto spoke those words, the sky tore apart and arrancar flooded out, ravaging the land. “Alert the captains!” Yamamoto said as he sped away and Kishou sent 12 hell butterflies off to each captain.
“I'll sacrifice all of myself to keep this place strong.” Kishou said, yelling in Yamamoto's direction. “I will never fail in my duty to Soul Society!”
The day ended with deaths on both sides, but the shinigami had lost the most. Yamamoto Genryuusai laid upon the ground, beaten and bloody and tears flooded from the eyes of the shinigami surrounding him. It was with a lump in his throat that Kishou spoke as Soul Society burned and the bodies of both sides littered the ground.
“What are we doing here? The sotaichou wouldn't have asked us to cry for him! He'd look at this place and demand an explanation for its state! There will be time to mourn our dead later, but right now we have an obligation to them to rebuild our home and let Aizen know that though we have lost great warriors today, even greater ones will rise to destroy him.”
And so the reconstruction effort began, with Kishou keeping morale up and doing all he could to keep the weight upon his back in the air.

Taichou Squad 7 Karudashi, Otai (Not yet approved) 360 i181.photobucket.com/albums/x91/XDevilsxWerewolfX/-anime-guy.jpgI will show everyone in the Soul Society that it does not take brute strength to win a battle. With a great mind, and great skill in battle, any battle seems victorious. Even if it’s looking grim. I have been running forum roleplay sites for many years now. I’ve adapted different type of Anime roleplays and feel that I can make a great captain, should I be given the chance to. -- Otai was raised in a small section of the Soul Society that had seen a lot of battles. He was brought up with the ideal that fighting with brute strength and pure strength was the key to every Shingami’s victory. But he was not yet convinced with that theory. Otai trained himself to the theory of brute strength, but found himself being beaten every time by those; who seemed to use more than the said “theory”. Otai learned from his mistakes and decided to alter the theory of brute strength victory, with the ideals of tactician and experience. An older Shingami watched over the boy and decided to take him in to the shinigami academy to help excel his new theory. Time passed and Otai was confident enough that his theory of great mind and great experience would be the key to any shinigami’s victory, and by becoming a Captain of his own squad would be one big step into showing this theory was a good one. -- Otai was casually lying in the Cherry blossom trees, outside his squad barracks with a calm look on his face. “It seems so long ago when I started my studies at the Shingami Academy, and look where I am because of it. I guess I should be grateful to Odikawa-Sama.” Otai thought to himself, as he closed his crimson red eyes, allowing his mess of snow white hair blow past them, as he entered a small state of rest, the cherry blossoms falling from the tree’s giving off an aura of peace and solitude. This would be quickly silenced with the arrival of Ibimaru.; a member of his squad. “Otai-Taichou. You’re training session with Odikawa has been arranged for ten minutes. Are you sure you want to go through with this?” Ibimaru asked calmly, as Otai sat up, rubbing his eyes lightly, before giving off a calm smile to the man. “Of course. Odikawa-Sama was the one who gave me the idea of joining the Shinigami Academy and excel in my studies to prove my theory right. I want to show him how it went.” Otai explained, standing to his feet and making his way towards the Training Dojo. Moments later, the Captain arrived to see the older Shinigami before him. “Odikawa-Sama, I have arrived for our training session.” Otai explained, giving the man a slight bow before, reaching for his Zanpaktou. “Indeed you have Otai-Taichou. Let us commence with our training. I wish to see how much you have improved.” Odikawa replied, as he reached for his, taking a small stance, that seemed almost familiar to Otai, but the Captain shook it off. Pushing his foot off the ground, Otai rushed towards Odikawa, and let out a basic swing of his blade, watching it collide with the elders. “Testing me huh Otai? Not a bad move. But you should know I am a lot stronger than this.” Odikawa said with a small smile, as he pushed his blade back, forcing Otai to skid across the wooden floor lightly, before shoving back. Otai landed on his feet, holding his stance with his Zanpaktou in front of him. “I know that Odikawa-Sama. But it never hurts to test ones abilities before taking it seriously.” Otai explained, as Odikawa raised his eyebrow with surprise. “I see… you have learned a lot in your studies at the Shinigami Academy. I am impressed… But.” Odikawa started, as he pushed off the ground and rushed at Otai, but then shifted his footing, moving towards the left of the Captain with a cross slice. “You’ll need more than that to beat me.” he finished, as Otai spun his foot around, pivoting his body in a three hundred and sixty degree angle, clashing with the others Zanpaktou. “I know that… I never thought it would be an easy battle Odikawa-Sama. But I have always examined other peoples battles, to learn their weak spots, allow me to demonstrate.” Otai explained, as he clenched his hands around the Zanpaktou tighter, forcing all his strength into the blade, to spiral it around Odikawa’s. The Captain, then spun his blade around his form once, before striking upwards, forcing Odikawa’s Zanpaktou out of his hands. The end result saw Odikawa with Otai’s Zanpaktou tip pressed against his neck. “I… AM impressed Otai. You figured my left hand was weaker, so you forced your Riatsu into forcing my weaker arm into submission. You’ve learnt a lot in your Shinigami academy days. I couldn’t be more impressed.” Odikawa explained, as Otai sheathed his Zanpaktou and helped the elder to his feet. “Thanks Odikawa-Sama. Now, I have some reports to cover, I’ll see you later.” Otai stated, as he turned around and headed back to his Barracks. “That boy has made himself a fine captain. I just hope he can help his team out as much as possible.” Odikawa thought to himself, before heading to his own room to sleep.
